OUR STORY

The coast became my safe space, almost like home away from home. Somewhere I could completely relax and just be me for that moment

 

Through my self adventures down the coast, I always wondered how the sea could be so calm and also be so powerful underneath…

 

I travelled the coast from Whitstable, Kent to Lands end in Cornwall taking in the breath taking coastline. Then I discovered Sea Glass, what amazed me is how something so breakable as glass could put through the powers of the ocean, battle the salt water waves and be bought back to our coastline in smooth individual pieces, what a journey. It might sound silly, but to me, they were reminders. Reminders that, despite sometimes feeling so breakable the journey we go through actually shapes us into the individual we are today. 

Combining all what I discovered and my love for travel and being lucky enough to explore around Asia I combined the two and that is what brought me to launching Tide Tribe, so that everyone has that reminder of not only the coastline. But how truly unique we are and the journeys we travel.
